YOUR RECIPE FOR
ACADEMIC SUCCESS
Dear Student,
2. Using your planner and systems binder.
3. Talking to your teachers about what you can do better.
Most students do two out of the three. Which one do you need to work on?
Understanding your Learning and Thinking styes gives you information about your brain and what it focuses on when you are studying. Then you can develop and strengthen the other styles and incorporate into your studying. You will increase your confidence because you know- you know it (what you need to get a good grade)!
Without a system, most people bounce between being completely on top of things (like having a clean room, an organized binder, and all their work finished) to being behind (a messy room, a stuffed binder and a few missing assignments). With a system there are sure to be times when things get hectic, but you're able to handle a bigger workload and more easily manage stress. A great system is the key!
Get over the old thinking that if you talk to the teacher you're a nerd or teacher's pet. When you talk to your teachers about what you're missing, checking for understanding or how you can do better, you will get better grades. You will be more in touch with what you need to do- and that means more confidence and less stress. Do it!
When you work with an Academic Life Coach, you will find out your unique thinking and learning styles, organize your systems and create powerful relationships. Less stress and increased confidence opens up fun, success, opportunities and vision for your future.
What are you waiting for? Make this year count!
